Potential applications of nanotechnology in bioenergy

Nanotechnology has an increasingly large impact on a wide range of industries, but its current use in the production of electricity and heat from biomass is limited. This thesis examined the potential impact of nanotechnology on bioenergy production through a literature review and interviews with industry members. Current technologies and methods in use were reviewed, with a focus on fuel handling and combustion systems. Areas in which problems existed were identified and nanotechnologies with properties relevant to those problems examined. This study is about multicriteria decision aiding (MCDA) for the green airports program of the Moroccan Airport Authority ONDA. The goal of the program is to develop significant amounts of renewable power at airports. In particular, ONDA wants to select airports at which large solar and wind power parks should be built. Multiple criteria, including economy, technical feasibility, and environmental concerns, must be considered simultaneously. Tämän tutkielman tavoitteena on johtaa Keski-Suomen maakunnan panos-tuotostaulut vuoden 2011 kansallisista tauluista FLQ-menetelmän avulla ja soveltaa saatuja kertoimia Jyväskylän voima Oy:n polttoaineiden hankintojen synnyttämien aluetaloudellisten vaikutusten selvittämisessä. Välittömien ja välillisten tuotantovaikutusten lisäksi tutkimuksessa on selvitetty polttoaineiden hankintojen synnyttämät työllisyysvaikutukset sekä kulutuskysynnäksi jäävät tulovaikutukset. The combination and cross-correlation of the upcoming $Euclid$ data with cosmic microwave background (CMB) measurements is a source of great expectation since it will provide the largest lever arm of epochs, ranging from recombination to structure formation across the entire past light cone. In this work, we present forecasts for the joint analysis of $Euclid$ and CMB data on the cosmological parameters of the standard cosmological model and some of its extensions. Tutkimuksessa etsittiin uusia kasvunlähteitä vaihteistojen valmistukseen, uusille energia-aloille ja teollisuusvaihde puolelle. Alojen kaupallinen kiinnostavuus tutkittiin Moventaksen kannalta sekä alustavasti vaihteiden tarve kyseisillä aloilla. Lisäksi tutkittiin mahdollisia tulevaisuuden kasvunaloja vaihdemarkkinoilla. Tavoitteena oli löytää aloja, joilla valmistetaan Jyväskylän tuotantotehtaiden kaltaisia vaihteistoja ja mahdollisesti saada tulevaisuudessa tuotantoon myös sellaisilta aloilta mihin ei ole ennen panostettu.
